Ready, set go. Irvine-based photo scanning store ScanMyPhotos.com is offering a challenge through Jan. 30. The store will scan up to 1,000 4×6-inch photos in 15 minutes or less, or the order (regularly $49.95) is free along with a 6×6-inch photo flip book randomly selected from the customer’s scanned photos.

A variation of the challenge is also extended to the store’s “nationwide and international customers using our prepaid fill-the-box photo scan box, or mailing us your own boxes,” said the company’s President and CEO, Mitch Goldstone. Once a mail order of up to 1,000 4×6″ photos is received, ScanMyPhotos.com will scan and prepare them to mail out that same day, or the order is free (except for shipping and handling and applicable tax).
